I want a Pizza!

I've been on a no fast food, no restaurants, basically just home cooking diet for 4 weeks now and I miss PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!! Pizza has long been my favorite easy and cheap food to eat and it was a pretty regular part of our meal plan for a long time, so it's been very hard to go without it. A little birdie said we might have a treat over Superbowl and have a veggie pizza, I have my fingers and toes crossed.. I've done pretty well with my diet and I've written in my diet journal every single day, so I think a treat would be well deserved :)

"What does Spanking mean to you?"

Courtney: Well it means a lot of stuff. It provides so many different things for us. It can be just fun, stress relief, punishment, anything. For us, it always brings us closer to each other and reminds both of us of our commitment to one another.

Dixie:

Spanking has been pushed farther and farther back when it comes to things. Just in general, I don't take time to play spanking or bdsm much. We are active socially in events, but not when it comes to playtime I go at least 2 months between any type of spanking

activity. I

t's just been one of those years where I have so much on my mind I don't give spanking much time.

Katia: Spanking means several things to me. The pleasure and excitement of GG spankings. Always guaranteed to bring a smile to my face. It also is a release for me in those times I am stressed. The pain I feel in my backside, at times, will release the pain I am feeling emotionally. Then there is the discipline side of a spanking. Even though it is unpleasant, it brings accountability, helps with guilt for things you feel you have done wrong. It makes me feel cared for, that someone else cares enough for me that they too will help you tow the line.

It is the one certainty in my life that I can count on, without it, I would be lost. It's funny how when you are wired- life doesn't seem natural without it.

Isabella: What does spanking mean to me? That has changed for me over the past 2 years. It started out as a curiosity concerning discipline. Well that worked well for me, with time that has changed quite a bit. Now it is more about the stress relief that the spanking brings and the relationships that I have developed through spanking.

Autumn: Spanking is part of me. I don't understand why, don't know where the need comes from, but it is a deeply rooted part of who I am. My desire for spanking came long before my desire for sex ever developed. The desire is something I pushed away as dirty or evil for a VERY long time before finally exploring it and seeing what it was that I had always longed for.

I love spanking. For me it is many things.

It is part of my sexuality. While my first spanking was not sexual or erotic in nature, it opened up a lot of doors for me as far as enjoying my sexuality and embracing the sexual part of myself.

Spanking in a disciplinary context for me is VERY different. In general knowing that I am accountable to two people who won't hesitate to paddle me and when I need it, when I break the agreement/rules we've agreed on makes me feel safe in a way that is hard to explain. Within a disciplinary context spanking actually helps me make far more responsible decisions and take full responsibility for decisions both good and bad that I make.

Spanking can also be very fun for me and not sexual.

I have met with one spanker in particular and it was just a lot of fun for both of us. It wasn't sexual, but we role played and just had a lot of fun.

After having an interest in spanking for my whole life and finally deciding to throw off society's mores and just go for it, I have become bolder in other parts of my life.

Now that Christmas time is coming it makes me think of a few of my favorite things...

Name some of yours that are on here or some new ones you might have...

Stockings - stuffing them, opening them, hanging them by the fire, picking them out

Tree - cutting one down, decorating it, putting the lights on, setting it up, the smell of it

Presents - buying them, receiving them, guessing what they are, wrapping them, unwrapping them, handing them out

Food - cookies, candycane, fruitcake, gingerbread, hot chocolate, plum pudding, eggnog, ham, apple cidar, making up the menu, cooking the food, shopping for the food, smelling the food cooking, eating the food, leftovers

Songs - going caroling, picking out and finding the words to songs, singing, playing piano or other instrument, listening to the music, finding the radio or tv station with holiday music on

Stories - telling the stories about christmas's past, reading christmas stories to others, listening to stories being read or watching them on television

Snow - not having it, making a snowman, snowball fights, artificial snow, snowflakes, icicles

Decorations - lights inside and out, picking out new balls and bulbs, using old memory filled ornaments, tinsel, garland, icicles, bells, mistletoe, rugs, scented candles, musical windup christmas globes

That's not an every night thing for me. In fact it only happens every now and then. They haven't been bad dreams or crazy unbelievable dreams.. they've actually been more like hopes and dreams kinda dreams.
I wake up happier.. wistful.. and more at peace with the world than I've been in a long time..

Here are some healthy Football Sunday Recipes shared by a good friend of mine who has some spectacular cooking skills :)

INDIAN SMOKEY TURKEY CHILI

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
2 1/2 pounds ground turkey (85 percent lean) or ground turkey breast (99 percent lean), 2 packages
4 tablespoons dark chili powder, 2 palms fulls
2 tablespoons grill seasoning blend, any brand, and 1 palm full
1 tablespoon cumin, 1/2 palm full
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 to 3 tablespoons hot sauce, medium to extra-spicy
1 large onion, quartered
2 large peppers, any color combination, red, green, purple, yellow or orange, chopped
1/2 bottle beer (the alcohol cooks out), about 1 cup
1 (14-ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup smoky barbecue sauce
2 cups corn kernels, optional

DIRECTIONS

Heat a pot over medium to medium high heat. Add extra-virgin olive oil, 3 turns of the pan, and the turkey meat. Season the meat with: chili powder, grill seasoning, cumin, Worcestershire and hot sauce. Break up the meat with the back of a wooden spoon into small crumbles.

Chop the onion, reserving 1/4 of it for topping the chili. Brown meat 5 minutes, then add onions and chopped bell peppers and cook 10 minutes more. Add beer and deglaze the pan, scraping up the drippings and cooking off the alcohol.

Add tomato sauce and barbecue sauce and bring to a bubble. It using corn kernels add them now. Let chili simmer 10 minutes. Adjust seasonings and heat level to your taste. Remove from heat and serve.

If you do not like turkey meat, you can always use beef or chicken both work well. This recipe is great for using what you have on hand. If I wanted to clear out a freezer or pantry I always made this on a Sunday. Oh and you can adjust the heat to your taste.

GUACAMOLE

INGREDIENTS

4 TO 5 SMALL HASS AVOCADOS
JUICE ½ LIME
1 CUP CHOPPED CILANTRO
1 PLUM TOMATO, CORED SEEDED AND CHOPPED
1 SMALL SPANISH ONION CHOPPED
1 JALAPENO CORED, SEEDED AND CHOPPED
2 CLOVES GARLIC FINELY CHOPPED
FINE SEA SALT OR KOSHER SALT TO TASTE
FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER TO TASTE

DIRECTIONS

PIT AND PEEL THE AVOCADOES. CUT THE AVOCADOS INTO ROUGH CHUNKS AND TOSS THEM IN A BOWL WITH THE LIME JUICE

ADD THE CILANTRO TOMATO, ONION, JALAPENO, AND GARLIC, AND MASH WITH A FORK UNTIL EVERYTHING IS EVENLY DISTRIBUTED AND THE GUACAMOLE HAS A NICE, CHUNKY TEXTURE.

SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER. SERVE IMMEDIATELY, PREFERABLY, BUT IF YOU ARE REFRIGERATE UP TO 4 HOURS, WITH A PIECE OF PLASTIC WRAP DIRECTLY ON TOP OF THE DIP.

Spanking Diet Issues For The Day

I'm going to start updating on how my Spanking Diet is going each day.. now I will still be having other topics as well so I'll use the same heading on each of the posts regarding the Diet and then put them on a side bar to refer back to later, in case I forget how bad I've been lol. Please feel free to share how your diet plans are going or if you have any suggestions or comments, I'd love to hear from you :)

Today started off wrong because I skipped breakfast and for me that's a big no no.. it only makes me SO much more hungry during the day. I did keep myself busy enough that I didn't snack but for lunch I had some home made chicken lasagna and that's not really the best meal for low calories but it sure did taste good. For dinner, since it's Football Sunday, we just had some chicken nuggets and french fries, again not great choices for calories but I succumbed to the quick and easy temptation. I have a feeling my backside is going to wish I had taken more time and thought healthier when we head to bed tonight. :(

Also.. gulp.. I didn't remember my fruits/veggies.. I basically had a bad day.. ugh.. it looks worse when I see it on here lol.

Anyone feel like writing me an excuse note for Todd? You know, something like "Please excuse Suzy from her diet plan today, she got distracted (by better tasting foods ;) and it couldn't be helped" .. How does that sound? Not so good. ok.. I'll just accept what I'm due.. no matter how bad it's going to feel accepting it.

This years Annual Tybee Island Pirate Fest, takes place October 6 – 9, 2011.

I was playing around online the other day when I stumbled into a list of different types of friendships on Wikipedia. What I found interesting was how common so many of these types of friendships/relationships are within the spanking scene. I thought it would be fun to share these vanilla definitions, and then include my own thoughts on how that type of dynamic translates in the spanking scene (my thoughts are in italics).

Associate: Not a true friend, sharing of emotional ties are absent. An example would be a coworker with whom you enjoy eating lunch or having coffee, but would not look to for emotional support. Many "friends" that appear on social networking sites are generally associates in real life.

You're more likely to encounter these in vanilla life. In the scene, you usually have ~being in the scene~ in common and thus are more likely to fall into the "buddy" category (see second below).

Best friend (or the closest friend): A person with whom someone shares extremely strong interpersonal ties with as a friend.

It's possible to build a friendship that becomes extremely close and pushes into "best friend" territory online. These friendships can be extremely close and life long. I personally do believe though that you really have to spend time together in-person to actually be a best friend. Some might disagree with that, but I do think that one on one contact is needed to reach that level.

Buddy: In the USA, males and sometimes females often refer to each other as "buddies", for example, introducing a male friend as their "buddy", or a circle of male friends as "buddies". Buddies are also acquaintances that you have during certain events. The term may also refer to an online contact, such as the AOL Buddy List.

Easy to have lots of buddies on a site like FetLife, were you share certain common kink interests. Lots of scene buddies in the spanking scene, where there is a good connection when it comes to spanking... but there really isn't any sort of deep emotional sharing. Can often be spanking play between buddies too.

Casual relationship or friends with benefits: A sexual or near-sexual and emotional relationship between two people who don't expect or demand to share a formal romantic relationship. This can also refer to a "hook-up".

This also occurs in spanking scene, but the "benefit" is spanking and not sex. This is a relationship that goes deeper than being buddies... sometimes far deeper... and can include spanking/kink at a more intense degree than buddies share.

Cross-sex friendship: A person having a friend of the opposite sex with having little or no sexual or romantic activity: a male who has a female friend, or a female who has a male friend. Historically cross-sex friendships have been rare. They aren't always a socially accepted norm.

They are however quite common in the scene. It's accepted that these friendships can and do exist, in large part because the "scene friends with spanking benefits" idea doesn't raise eyebrows. Men and women friendships that don't include sex would fall into this category.

Flimsy Scene Acquaintance: This is one Todd came up with. An 'FSA' is someone that pretends a close friendship exists. They're apt to rattle on about how close the relationship is and they're quick to count an FSA as a "real" friend. The reality is though that they'd be hard pressed to string together anything but a few casual facts about their close friend. Past history, current day to day life... they're largely clueless about even broad stroke facts. Yet, they insist a "real friendship" exists.

This type of relationship can be extremely common in the scene. It's often a harmless form of exaggerating... here is my good friend (despite the fact that I don't even know her kids names!). However, an FSA can easily become a "frenemy" (see below) and there is danger here if one person buys the "good friend" hype and ends up trusting a FSA to a far greater degree than they should have (which can be easy to do given the kink connection).

Frenemy: A portmanteau of the words fr(iend) and enemy, the term frenemy refers to someone who pretends to be a friend but actually is an enemy—a proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing in the world of friendships. The term frenemy was reportedly coined by a sister of author and journalist Jessica Mitford in 1977, and popularized more than twenty years later on the third season of Sex and the City.

These are rare online and in the scene, but they are out there and they are extremely dangerous. We've encountered more than our fair share of frenemies, and have watched them take great joy in turning on us. For them, it is some sort of sick form of entertainment. If you have a "friend" that does this... takes great joy in tearing into and attempting to destroy a former friend... watch out! You easily could be dealing with a frenemy that is liable to turn on YOU at some point.

Internet relationship: a form of friendship or romance which takes place over the Internet. Some internet friendships evolve into real life friendships. Internet friendships are in similar context to a pen pal. These friendships are also based on the thought that the other person that they may not have ever met in real life knows them for who they are instead of the mask they may use in real life.

Very popular in the scene, where it's easy to meet a like-minded person... that just happen to live 1000 miles away. I know, because that's how Todd and I started out!

Open relationship: a relationship, usually between two people, that agree each partner is free to have sexual intercourse with others outside the relationship. When this agreement is made between a married couple, it's called an "open marriage".

This is also common in the scene, though again instead of "sex" it is spanking where there is that openness. 9/11 A Day We Wish Had Never Happened

I woke up this morning and realized it was 9/11. There have been so many things over the years that have occurred on 9/11. Some of those years that date was like any other day but other years that day brought some kind of life-changing occurrence, either affecting us personally or affecting us as a nation or both.

Todd's Awesome Beef Potato Soup

(can also be made with Chicken broth instead of Beef broth
but then it's Todd's Chicken Potato Soup :)

Tools needed:
stove top burner
soup pot
dicer
mixer/blender
big spoon

Ingredients:

4 potatoes (peeled and diced)
equal amt of cauliflower (diced)
3 stalks of celery (diced)
1 carrot (diced)
beef (or chicken) broth to cover
1 beef (or chicken) boullion cube
1/4 cup milk (we use skim cause that's what we drink)
3 slices of uncooked bacon (diced) (if you don't have real bacon, bacon bits can be used and unless you are a chef, you probably won't notice the difference)
salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, louisiana hot sauce (add to personal taste preference)
dash of sugar
1/4 bag (1/2 cup / 2 oz) of sharp cheddar shredded cheese (add more if you like it cheesier)

put pot on stove
add the peeled and diced potatoes, cauliflower, celery, carrots
add beef (or chicken) broth until it just covers ingredients in pot
add 1/4 cup milk
add 1 beef (or chicken) boullion cube
add diced bacon
add salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, hot sauce to taste
add a dash of sugar
put on medium heat and let it cook until bubbles start to show (pre-boil)
remove from stove and put into blender
mix/chop but don't liquify
we do ours to a soup smooth with a few chunks in it
put back on stove on low heat
add sharp cheddar cheese (you can use other kinds too and more or less depending on how much you want your soup to taste cheesy :)
stir till the cheese melts.

Serve hot but not too hot because you'll like it so much you'll eat it real fast and burn your tongue ;)

Today I am doing the seventeenth Spanko Friend Profile Post on a fun, beautiful, and creative spankee known as "Poppy".

How old were you when you received your first adult spanking? Who gave it to you and how did you feel about the experience?

I was 17. It was my boyfriend and I can’t remember what caused him to do it but we were in his house, (he was 23 years old) and he spanked me in front of a load of our friends. He literally pulled me over his knee and spanked me while I kicked and protested surrounded by gasps from the girls and laughter from the guys.

I ran out of the room and cried and cried. I think that the desire was so strong in me and I understood it so little that the experience overwhelmed me.

He came and comforted me and promised never to do it again. I often wonder what would have happened if he were a Top and had understood why I cried.

How did you first become involved in the spanking community? What about blogging?

I was an avid reader of blogs for years, blogs, stories and books and all the rest of it. After about a zillion hours of surfing I made a comment on Dev’s blog. I then ran upstairs and hid in my room, literally hid. He said something back and that is how it started.

I started to blog about nine months later. I had to. I was so keen to speak about what I felt and what I was going through.

I feel a bit of a fraud in the spanking community. People are so kind and supportive of me that it seems weird to say that. But I don’t meet people. I have met Dev, of course, and DJ Black but I am not like the rest of the people I read about who seem to have met lots of people and spanked or been spanked by them.

Speaking of blogging, share with us what you get out of it? What do you hope your readers get out of your blog?

I love it more than I could ever say. I love that after so many years I can say what I feel. I love the friends I make. My aim is really to speak to girls like me and make them understand that they are not alone. It is also to let them know that it is normal people that do this sort of thing. I try to be really honest about when it goes wrong and all the feelings that are involved.

I love to read those stories where 6 foot seven muscle man strides in and throws a girl over his shoulder and spanks her into the sunset but they always made me feel a little sad. I want to say to the girl whose kitchen is a mess and who does all the normal life activities that there is a place for her too. I want her to see her erotic potential and to understand that she is what she always dreamed she was.

I also (and I am a little ashamed of this) find the idea that a man could read what I write and want to spank me almost unbearably exciting. I am not sure that men are like that. I am pretty sure they prefer pictures.

How do you spend your time when you are offline? What % would you say spanking time has compared with vanilla time? (for example, 25% spanking 75% vanilla)

I work a lot. I have a demanding very full time job which I love. I have dogs, friends, a full life. I am always thinking about spanking though. It runs like a thread through everything I do. I am 100% spanking and 100% vanilla. I blush when I hear from a spanker and tremble at times (in the best way) just like the most vanilla of girls but then I spend all night remembering every second of it.

Being in a relationship that includes spanking, how often would you say spanking occurs typically? daily, weekly, monthly, or is it too unpredictable to estimate?

I see Dev very rarely. When I am with him I get spanked about every twenty minutes (honestly!) but then I have to go months without it. I have just started to have a mentor who is wonderful and I will be spanked by him every time I see him. It is too soon to say how often that will be. But I am thrilled (and very lucky) to have him in my life.

You go by the name "Poppy" on your blog, how did you come about using that name in the scene?

It was my nickname when I was younger. I like the way it sounds. It makes me smile. I think Poppy is the real me. My other name was the name I was given, Poppy is all from my heart.

What I know about Poppy...

Poppy's blog 'Poppy's Submissions' is just what the title tells you. It's her honest and totally straight to the point viewpoints of her dynamic between Devlin O'Neill and herself in the D/s dynamic. She has an interesting manner of writing and her pictures are sexy and beautiful and reading her writings on her posts make you feel like you are right there with her.

Sometimes the simple short statements in reference to a photo or pic she posts, say exactly what you are thinking at the time and that always makes me smile. How old were you when you received your first adult spanking, who did you get it from and overall how did the experience go?

I was 38 years old, and I got my first spanking from a man who had placed an ad in the"Alternatives" section of the L.A. Weekly, a local free paper. I was so naive and had no idea what to expect, but I thought he was very attractive and seemed to have the right demeanor, and he was up for the challenge of taking my spanking virginity, so I went for it. Overall, I would say I was very lucky. He asked all the right questions and observed the proper etiquette, and the spanking itself far exceeded anything I'd ever had in my imagination. From that point on, spanking went from fantasy to reality for me and I wanted more, more, more.

How did you first get started as a model? How did you feel as you became more and more publicly known?

My boyfriend and I started going to Shadow Lane parties in 1997, and I discovered I enjoyed the exhibitionism of public play as much as I loved the spankings. In September 1999, after a ballroom scene that got an ovation from a large crowd, I was on such a high, I decided I'd approach the SL people and see if they were seeking new performers. Before I could talk myself out of it, I found Tony and Butch at the Sunday brunch and asked if they had any openings. Tony took my name and email address, and the following week, Eve contacted me, asking for information about my sizes, my preferences, my limits, etc. I was scheduled for my first shoot with them in January 2000.

How did I feel? Like after a lifetime of invisibility, suddenly, I was quite visible. It was a new feeling for me and I liked it very much. I couldn't believe it was possible to have so damn much fun, and the recognition and accolades were like champagne bubbles in my blood. Parties were different after I started shooting; more people wanted to talk to me, to play with me. I was overwhelmed, but in a very good way.

You shared that you've been in the spanking scene for about 15 years now. What are some of the biggest changes you've seen in the time?

When I first joined the scene, I wasn't even online yet. The online scene of the late 1990s/early 2000s was a lot about forums and newsgroups, but not the social networking phenomenon we have now. You still had paper magazines like Stand Corrected, and paper ads. Videos were longer and still in VHS format, gradually switching over to DVDs. There was no streaming video, no clips, no Spanking Tube -- if you wanted to watch spanking videos, you ordered them and had them sent to your home. Now, it seems people have a much shorter attention span, and the quickie clips that stream directly from the sites are preferred over ordering full-length DVDs. So the various companies have had to adjust to these changes.

There are more parties now, I believe. When I first started out, there was Shadow Lane, of course, and Crimson Moon. I think SCONY was around as well. Now, you have Florida Moonshine, Strictly Spanking New York, Texas All-State, Tampa Tanners and more. People have more choices and opportunities to meet up and play.

Blogs! I don't remember when that term was first coined, but there weren't spanking blogs when I first came online. Now, the spanking blogosphere is enormous, with new ones being added all the time. I don't think people participate in the open forums quite as much as they did years ago. There are only so many subjects to discuss and they tend to get repeated over and over. However, blogs can be quite compelling because no two are alike; everyone's got their own take on things, their own experiences.

If you were FORCED to pick just one type of spanking for the rest of your life... discipline, playful, erotic, etc... which would you pick and why?

That's a tough one. Do I REALLY have to choose? Ack...
OK, if I absolutely had to, I think I would have to go for playful (but still plenty hard!). I am not a D/D practioner, so disciplinary spankings don't really figure into my lifestyle (although I enjoy the pretense of discipline; I like to call that type of spanking "pseudo-discipline). Erotic spanking is out-of-this-world delicious, but I can still enjoy sex one hell of a lot even if a spanking isn't part of the mix. So that leaves playful. Despite all my fussing and protesting, I know I'm not kidding anyone -- I love spanking. I love everything about it. And I like to have fun with it; I love the banter and the tease and yes, the laughter and giggling. So I think that would be the hardest to give up.

How much of your life (percentage wise) is spent doing something to do with spanking? (example: 25% spanko 75% vanilla)?

I've never thought about that, but without over-thinking it, I'd say about 50/50. I don't have as much vanilla in my life as some do, since my boyfriend is in the scene, most of my friends are as well, and I have very little family. I work freelance. so I'm not stuck in a vanilla office 8-10 hours a day. I admit, I'm an online junkie and I waste ridiculous amounts of time reading spanking blogs, FetLife posts and other kink-related stuff. If I get busy with work, of course, that activity goes down a fair amount.

How did you decide on Erica Scott as a scene name?

That one's easy. Erica is my real name. I decided early on that I wasn't up for dealing with the confusion of two first names. As for the last name, I wanted one that was simple, easy to spell and remember, didn't sound porn-y and that started with S, as my real last name does. So I went with Scott, after considering Stevens and Steele. I dismissed the latter fairly quickly, figuring it would end up as Steel, Steal, Steale, etc. Never underestimate people's ability to misspell something in all ways possible. (sigh)

What I know about Erica Scott...

When Todd brought me to my first spanking party, Shadow Lane, we didn't know hardly anyone. The one person we did know had told us about some of the people we could expect to see there. One of the people she said she'd introduce us to was Erica Scott. It was very exciting to be able to meet an official 'spanking model' and one thing I found comforting is that our friend knew and liked Erica on a personal level as well.

Having read and seen many pictures and stories of Erica from her MySpace and her modeling work, I was very anxious to meet her in person. When we were introduced at a suite party over that weekend, she treated us like we had known her for years. She was delightfully welcoming and seemed to know everyone. It made for an awesome introduction to the spanking scene!

Speaking of Fetlife... lol... my friend Jean and I were joking around online while Todd was busy working on his sports stuff and we decided to make up a new fetish.. called... INTRODUCING: Princess Kelley

Today I am doing the fifteenth Spanko Friend Profile Post on a young, beautiful and amazing spankee known as "Princess Kelley".

When did you get your first adult spanking and by whom and how did you feel about it?

My first spanking ever (I was not spanked as a child) was on April 19, 2008. :). I was 18, and his name was Edward (43). We had met on Shadow Lane's personal ads online, and we emailed back and forth for about a month before he came up to see me. The feeling was... I mean I don't think I could have asked for a better first time. He was (and is) a very good man, and while the experience was different than what I had expected (ex. I didn't cry- they always cry in the stories! lol), it was a wonderful sum of 18 years of anticipation. :) We were together for about 9 months, and we are still good friends :).

What got you first started blogging and what are the positives and negatives you've found when blogging about spanking?

I first started blogging in November of 2008, right after Thanksgiving (I suppose pretty early on in my active spanking life). I was procrastinating on writing a huge research paper (lol) and I somehow discovered the blog His to Spank, His to Love and just became obsessed (a trait of mine, :)). I read the entire thing (4 years worth of writing) in about a day in a half, and felt extremely affected by it. There was just something about the passion of their relationship that affected me deeply, and it made me want to share my story. Perhaps part was just that I thought it would be fun to work on a blog (I have some background in web coding- though you would never know looking at my blog! lol) and a way to share the couple dozen photos I had accumulated at that point. But a big part was that I wanted to have the kind of affect on someone that their blog, and other blogs had had on me. I got onto the internet, and immediately into the spanking world there, when I was 10. And I hoped that if there was someone out there scared, and wondering if what they felt was ok, that my blog might be somewhere they could come, and see someone closer to their age, going through the beginnings of this, and be good for them.

To be honest, I'm also a complete and total attention whore, and my blog took off a lot faster than I anticipated. I adored (and still do) every single comment, and every single email. As a girl who grew up never feeling thin enough or hot enough, to suddenly be in a world where I was (at the time) almost the ideal... it was overwhelming in a good way. For the positives- I find it cathartic much of the time. I treat my blog much like my diary, and its personal and its for me. This can be a negative sometimes when people criticize or are cruel.. but overall the positives in that outweigh the negatives. The blog feeds my inner attention whore, and I eat that part up for sure. But on the flip side, the internal (and occasionally external) wrestling match going on about whether or not to have pictures and if I do if I should show my face, etc has been stressful. I've loved meeting people through the blog and enjoy very much the friendships I have made. But sometimes I feel a bit pegged in this part of the scene now, and its hard to back out again- and sometimes it means you can get caught up in the mess of gossip and drama.

Certainly though, overall, I have loved my time blogging, and the positive feedback I get, and the emails I get from people who have been affected by it, inspire me and spur me forward :).

You are a single girl, do you choose your dates based on whether or not they are spankos or even into spanking or does it really matter one way or the other?

At this point I no longer date non-spankos . (Though lets me honest here- people my age don't really "date" anymore- which sucks. We hook-up and we have relationships.) I only had one relationship with a guy ever before I got spanked, and have not dated any non-spankos since. There is a part of me that has always, and will always dream of meeting the right man randomly, in person, and him some how being a true spanko and us living happily ever after. But I think that is a bit of a pipe dream, lol, and I'm learning to just get used to the idea that the person I will (hopefully) spend the rest of my life with, will be someone I meet online. And I have come to accept also that its not a good idea to date non-spankos. As a young female blogger I get quite a lot of emails from men, 15 years into a vanilla marriage to a woman who they love, but they are unsatisfied, and come looking to me (not something I will give into btw). And they thought, "oh it'll be fine, I love her." But after having waited 18 years to finally get spanked and be in a DD type relationship, I can't give that up either. So I hope that I will find a man I love and want to spend the rest of my life with, who also shares my love of spanking, and my desire to incorporate that into a relationship.

How much of your life (percentage wise) is spent doing something to do with spanking? (example: 25% spanko 75% vanilla):

Oh goodness. Lol. Well lets say I spend 40% of my time sleeping (I sleep a lot, lol) so I have 60% left to play with. And since I don't to try to calculate how often I dream about spanking, lets just calculate based on waking hours! lol :)
Honestly it varries, but I'm going to go with 40%. This mostly comes from reading spanking fanfiction. I adore fanfiction and read atleast an hour a day (and have for about 7 years), but have spent up to 14 hours a day reading, and I don't read anything BUT spanking/discipline related stuff. But I also do go to school, and hang out with friends, and watch tv etc. But even a lot of that is tinged with thoughts of spanking, or simply this life. So its hard to calculate (and of course differs when I'm in a relationship, but I feel safe with approx 40% of my waking hours :).

How did you decide on the name "Princess Kelley" as your scene name?

Well the Princess part was the main element. My first spanker, and then a young spanker I was dating at the time had called me "Princess" in both a not so nice way and in a sweet way before, and it just felt like the right fit. I do act a bit like a Princess, and I am pretty awesome, lol. :) I created a chart around that time for this young guy I was dating about the different types of spanking (discipline, good girl, maintenance, settling, ect) and one of the ones I created was called a "Princess" spanking. I could look it up to see exactly what I said it entailed, but the idea of me as in the Princess roll in the spanking scene (its not really a personality I took on that often in vanilla life back then) just kinda stuck.
LOL, now that I'm thinking about it, the real reason I created the blog- or I suppose what the final straw that said, "Ok, lets do this for real"- was when I came up with the title, Confessions of a Spanked Princess. I just thought of it in bed one evening, and I thought, that is too perfect to pass up :).
I like to let people debate and guess about where Kelley comes from. The general consensus is that comes from Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco- and that's certainly not a bad guess *wink.*

What I know about Princess Kelley...

I first met Princess Kelley online and she was interested in getting her affilliates started on her website. Todd had been chatting with her for a while and introduced us and I suggested we talk on the phone because showing someone how to make website changes is sooo much easier that way :) Right away, I noticed Kelley's good humor and charming personality. We were both giggling in no time!

On her blog, Confessions of a Spanked Princess, she is very forthright and honest, something Todd and I both appreciate in a friend. Kelley has a very cute bottom and she definitely LOVES to be spanked! Her pictures are always a treat because she is very photogenic and so even unposed pics are beautiful to see. She's also QUITE the brat. But mostly in a fun and very friendly way. Here's a picture I took of her after she had been bratting Todd and he chose the PERFECT implement to make his point :)

Over the following years, we maintained a good friendship and kept up with her on her many travels and life experiences. Then, when talking online a few months ago, a plan to visit came up and she said she would love to come see us and we were thrilled at the idea!

Her visit here couldn't have gone any better and we definitely look forward to seeing her again next time she can make it down this way.

Today we are doing the fourteenth profile post on the spanko known as "Amber Dawn".

How old were you when you received your first adult spanking? Who gave it to you and what did you think?

My first adult spanking was when I was 27 years old and I was getting into nude modeling. The photographer told me during our 2nd photo shoot together that he was inspired by the artist Egon Schiele who emphasized red and pink tints on all the erogenous zones. She has a really interesting way of balancing her modeling career and her personal life. Interviewing spanking models is a bit different because even though the scene is the same, the people themselves are so different and are all very unique in their reasons for choosing the style of modeling they do.

Suzy's Disciplinary Diet Rules

In my and Todd's DD relationship, one of the primary issues we concentrate on is healthy eating and exercise, it's not easy and life has definitely caused our diets to have their ups and downs but what I am most proud of is the fact that our eating choices, our mental awareness of our health in general and our efforts to exercise, have improved.

Below are the rules for my Disciplinary Diet and the spanking given for failure to follow the rules is no laughing matter.. :( There are, I'm happy to say, also rewards (other than the obvious health related ones) given for following the rules as well.

Please feel free to share your thoughts as well as any diet ideas you may have. It always helps to get others input and new tips to keep things interesting and help keep us all healthy.

~ You are to keep a food journal. Anything you eat is to be listed in it, BEFORE you eat it. Food is to be measured out exactly (either pre-packaged or weighed/measured) so you know exactly what is being eaten. No dead reckoning allowed. This means a bowl of cereal is measured out... and done every single time. Exact calories are also to be listed. This all must be done before you eat (or drink anything with calories). Your journal should list the times you eat and have a running calorie total.

~ You are to stay between 800 and 1200 calories every day. You can spend these as you wish. If you want to eat 1200 calories worth of cake when you wake up... that would be your business (so long as other rules are met)

~ You are to drink at least 6 glasses of water or crystal light (or similar type water based things... tea, etc... not soda, juice, milk, etc).

~ You are to eat at least one fresh fruit or veggie a day. That's fresh... not in a salad.

~ You are NOT to count the calories in veggies and fruits (minus avocados). They're free, and you can eat as many a day as you like (must do the one). Do need to list them in your journal though (before eating them, of course).

~ You are to take a minimum of 5 walks a week. A 'walk' shall be one trip around the block. There is no time limit or pace you must meet. Just have to walk around the block for it to count. You're allowed to take 2 walks in a day... and have them both count... once a week.

~ You are not allowed to complain or fuss about being hungry. Voicing those complains does nothing but make you miserable. You're also not allowed to complain about walks. You are to be HAPPY... and failing that... you are to ACT happy. These rules are the greatest joy in your life.

~ Exceptions can be made to all of these rules. Illness, travel, visits, etc can and will impact what can be done. However, exceptions will be limited and they will be at my total and complete discretion. For example, if you made the decision to skip walks early in the week - that will be noted. Also, there will be virtually no chance of success if you ask after the fact... or even near it. It's your job to make these rules a focus and to plan for meeting them.

~ You are to weigh yourself every Tuesday morning. Can weigh if you like at other times... but Tuesday morning is a set rule.

~ Near the end of each day, you are to hand me your completed food journal. This should be done once you are done eating/drinking for the day. Water, veggie/fruit and exercise... as well as your weight on Tuesday... should be noted too.

Violations to these rules will result in an immediate discipline spanking whenever possible... either then and there, or the next morning... or if forced (vanilla guests, travel, etc) as soon as it can be done. It will be my decision on exactly how that spanking will happen. A safe bet is a bare bottom spanking with the Wood Discipline Paddle (which will be kept in the nightstand) or at least 6 spanks... and more for larger issues. More than one spanking is entirely possible.

What Kind of Spankee are you?

There are so many Labels out there and many of us don't seem to think any of them fit exactly right. Which leads me to inquire, if you were to describe the kind of Spankee you are, what would you say?

Descriptions like Bottom, Submissive, Slave are typically used but there are spankees out there who could also be classified as a bit Toppy, or some who don't play with others socially might be considered more of a Private Spankee. Some Professional Spankees could either be ones who enjoy it for the publicity, the popularity, the social spanking or some might do it just for the money. Or those who like getting spanked for any reason and by anyone at all? Also there are the ones who define themselves by the kind of spanking they enjoy. Some take Hard spankings, some are only Light players. There are ones who only enjoy getting spanked for Disciplinary reasons and still others who find their spanking enjoyment when it's done Erotically.

A Hug (this is the best medicine but unfortunately the hugger has to stop at some point)

Warm bath (I enjoy this more when it's not wintertime, seems too cold when I get out)

Time Outside (a nice cool breeze seems to make my head stop hurting)

Alcoholic beverages (straight or mixed depending on stress severity)

Blood pressure medication (not sure if this works to calm me or it just feels like it does)

Dixie: hmmmm for me personally I do like a variety of implements just because more variety means more sensations from thud to sting and greater chance that the feeling will linger for me.

***Originally I posted this simply to vent my feelings about some negative experiences I faced in 2010, not to upset or hurt any feelings, and once I was told that it upset a few of my friends who found themselves a part of the negative experiences, I took the post down.

However, since then, these same people have either stated or shown that we are no longer friends and I'm not sure we ever really were. So I'm putting my post back up, because these are, after all, my feelings on my blog and I'm entitled to them.

This years OTK Fantasy Football League has ended and we want to congratulate our good friend Cowgirl coming in 2nd!! (next best thing to 1st place ;)

A BIG Thanks to Cane-iac for donating our prizes this year which are the 'Black Knight’ paddle for the 1st place team and then the ‘Black Knight Jr.’ for the 2nd place team "Whatever" and having felt both of these I think Cowgirl is gonna be REAL happy she ended up with the Jr. one rather than the bigger (and more painful) Sr. one.

It was a fun time playing and competing with fellow Spankos and even though some of the players on my team "Suzy's World" should be spanked instead of me, I'll take my spanking for losing like a good girl should (where did I put that halo :)

Traveling Spankos Wanted!

Todd and I have been discussing our 2011 New Year plans and traveling is going to be a big part of it.. what's new about that you ask? lol.. Well, we want to eventually stop at all of the 50 state's information centers, several trips will be needed to do this, and obviously some states will have to wait a bit since they are more difficult to afford travel to. As we pass through, we'll stop and get a spanking picture.. sometimes it might only be a clothes on pic, but if we get lucky and have a private moment with no vanillas around, we might be able to catch a bare bottom or panty spanking in there too!

So to accompany us on our adventure we'd like to find a suitable traveling companion(s). Now while we realize that not everyone (usually) can get up and travel for however long to whatever place, we would like to hear from people with even the most moderate of interests in traveling. The thing is.. we are spankos.. DUH.. and as such, we like spanking to be a part of our road trips, so this person needs to be fun, playful, not too shy, willing to take spanking pics and willing to be in spanking pics.. which will be posted on our blog. (Using scene names and blurred faces if any nude butts are showing is fine). Todd and I are getting close to our 'who cares what others think' years now that my son is almost 18 and we want to start really doing what we want without stress or worry about others opinions of 'what we do'.

Here are some of the activities we enjoy traveling to do... and we are very openminded about whatever our companion's interests are too!

Spanking - did I mention that yet? LOL

Site Seeing - Todd is like an encyclopedia when it comes to remembering things about the history of places so it's like having your own personal tour guide sometimes and we love learning and seeing new things too!

Gambling - no big spenders here, we like everything from penny/nickle slots to $100 poker tournaments, but while we do love to win, we also just love to play!

Driving - Todd and I alternate driving so no one gets too burnt out, but if our companion is a good driver and has a clean license, they are welcome to take a shift.

Swimming - if financially feasible most of the hotel stays will include pools (indoor if possible) and hot tubs (in our room if affordable).

Socializing - we love spanking parties, small ones, big ones, and we enjoy vanilla get togethers too, we'd like our companion to know how to behave completely vanilla when in public, with vanilla only friends/family and/or around children. But they would also need to be able to enjoy letting their freak flag fly when around appropriate scene like company as well :)

Todd and I are generous but not wealthy lol.. so we would like a companion who doesn't mind contributing.. doesn't have to always be their exact share but at least make an effort to ease the cost for all concerned. We don't smoke and would prefer our companion not smoke either. Todd doesn't drink but I do when out and about but I keep it moderate (or risk a spanking) and we like it that way because it's more fun to enjoy wherever we're at if I'm not passed out or hung over LOL

We are a pretty easy going couple. We've been together for almost 10 years now (married 6 of them) and we bicker and fuss from time to time but never over anything important and it never lasts very long before we make up.. (make up sex is awesome ;)

So... if you are single (or have a spanko spouse that would be interested in traveling with another couple) and would like to get to know us better, we could discuss meeting and seeing what kind of trip would work for us all. :)

In 2008 I created a unique blog group called the Suzy Spanking Union... or the SSU and it was quite busy for a while, then as things do, it slowed down.. then this year it has been sleeping for a while.. but I finally checked my email lol.. and found a new member who wanted to join and so I got them added and posted a quick welcome post to the blog.

For those of you who have never checked out the SSU, please do. You'll find a lot of good and amusing reading on the different spanker violations that have been reported and voted on by the union over the last couple of years. There are some hilarious debates and so-called defenses given by these Spanking Violators and some awesome points made by the SSU members who reported them.

The SSC has been discontinued for the time being but there are still some interesting reads on the site.

Today I am doing the thirteenth Spanko Friend Profile Post on an intelligent, witty and creative spankee known as "Bonnie".

How old were you when you received your first adult spanking and who gave it to you, and how did you feel about the experience?

I suppose you could say I received my first adult spanking before I was an adult. At 16, I cajoled my boyfriend into spanking me. He completely misunderstood what I wanted and it was pretty much a disaster. We broke up not too long afterward. I gained from the experience a better understanding of what I desire and how to ask for it.

How did you first become involved in the spanking community?

My first exposure to the spanko community was as a lurker in the ASS/SSS Usenet groups. Ever the geek, my husband Randy showed it to me. I was amazed. I talked with several of the luminaries of that world, primarily though e-mail. By that time, Randy and I had been enjoying spanking together for more than ten years. Even so, there was a great deal we did not know. It was so interesting and cool to hear all of the different perspectives. As a result, we greatly expanded the boundaries of our play.

In terms of becoming an active participant, I joined a series of now-defunct spanking forums and discussion groups beginning in the late-90s. This is where I first found my online voice. A few years later, blogs became the medium of choice. This seemed like a natural outlet for a writer like me, so I jumped in with both feet. The rest of the story can be found on my blog.

You have a very popular blog and we know how time consuming that can be, how do you spend your time when you are offline?

Thank you. Publishing the blog (plus all of the behind the scenes stuff that no one sees) does consume a lot of time. However, Randy is the first priority in my life. Then comes my job and the blog. If there is any time left, I enjoy working with community theater projects, gardening, cooking, travel, and reading.

Being in a marriage that includes spanking, how often would you say spanking occurs typically? daily, weekly, monthly, or does it too unpredictable to estimate?

We plan to get together for spanking once each week, usually on Friday evening. Many weeks, we will sneak in one or two extra sessions, but these depend upon our schedules, energy levels, and what is happening in the rest of the world.

You go by the name "Bonnie" on your blog, how did you come about using that name in the scene?

Believe it or not, I was given this name by my mother. It's printed on my birth certificate. I started using it early on and by the time I figured out that was a bad idea, I had already accumulated lots of cyber-friends who know me as Bonnie.

What I know about Bonnie...

When I first started checking out spanking sites online, Todd told me about My Bottom Smarts. I liked it from the start. Bonnie's writing was very "real" and it didn't focus on the physical act of spanking as much as it did the emotional side of it. That she was married and in a spanking relationship very much appealed to me too. It felt like the type of blog I'd like to write, if I were to ever have a blog. She also has the Sunday Brunch feature which is one of my favorite regular posting features she does. It brings up great topics of discussion and then shares the comments from her large group of readers.

As it turned out, Todd and I started the A.S.S. blog a few months later and we did indeed use many of Bonnie's ideas, especially when it came to sharing the more realistic and emotional side of spanking. Instead of Bonnie viewing us as competion or being mad that we'd borrowed some of her ideas, she was welcoming and very helpful. We've tried to borrow that approach too (one of the reasons we do our "Wink" posts on A.S.S.).

Although I don't get to talk with Bonnie directly all that much these days, I do enjoy reading her blog and keeping in touch that way. My Bottom Smarts remains one of my favorite blogs. I very much enjoyed the chance to interview Bonnie too, and want to thank her for sharing her picture. This is the first time she's done that (in the spanking community). Thanks Bonnie! Very nice smile. :)

Bonnie's writings, comments, thoughts and involvement in 'this thing we do' makes it that much better for all of us and I am happy to know her.

Who did you give your first adult spanking to, where was it, and for what reason (if any)?

My first time was spanking my girlfriend back in high school ... it was always playful .... Then a very long dry spell until I went to my first shadowlane party back in 1998 .. I can't remember the name of my first spankee ..

I like all types of spanking play .. at parties it mostly playful but playful doesn't always mean light . with the right lady I also enjoy Erotic but I really need to get to know them ... been told that I have a good touch ... as for Disciplinary spankings again it has to be the right lady .. I really do like doing disciplinary scene ...

How do you spend most of your time online? Chatting, Message boards, Forums, Gaming, Blogging, vanilla stuff?

The only forum I use these days is Fetlife and I spend about 1 to 2 hours a day on it ..

What percentage of your daily activities include something to do with spanking? (example 6 hours of spanking fun (either online or off) = 25%)

As for thinking of spanking during the day .. I would say I am like 10%

I've heard you called "Dan" and "DanDan" in the scene, which one do you prefer?

I go by Dan , but several people like to call me DanDan ... its does not really matter ..

What I know about Dan:

I've seen Dan at several different spanking parties but hadn't had much time to spend with him until he came to our recent September Ocala party. Many people had told us very good things about Dan and so we were very confident that he'd fit in well and he definitely proved that to be true.

He's a very good spanker and he seems to always have a smile on his face and a paddle in his hand :)
Dan has been in the spanking scene for over 20 years and doesn't get rushed or hurried and speaking as a spankee, that's an excellent quality when a man has you over his lap.

At the party it was almost like Dan read my mind because he brought me and one of the other spankees named Katia into the bedroom and had us lay down and caned us both quite harshly ;) (I don't know how he knew that being spanked with someone as well as being caned are two of my favorite things .. maybe I'm not the mystery I thought I was LOL).

How old were you when you received your first adult spanking and who gave it to you, and how did you feel about the experience?

I "woke up" to my true self in June of 2008 when I was 47 and received my first adult spanking in August that same year. I was lucky I found SpankFinder when it was new and found a really wonderful guy that showed me the ropes (so to speak). I LOVED it from the first SWAT!

How did you first become involved in the spanking community?

Well as many did I typed in the word spanking one day on a search engine and WOW! I was lucky enough to find Bonnie's blog fairly quickly and then ASS. I also found some others that I just KNEW were NOT what I was looking for. I jumped right in both feet first and was lucky,I only met about two trolls everyone else was great. Sir Robert winked at me on SpankFinder in mid-September and we finally met face-to-face in early October first date vanilla second date TWO DAYS later his hand met my butt for the first time!

We have had the pleasure of spending time with you and Robert, tell us some of the benefits of living with a spanker? (attend more parties, get spanked more often, etc..)

The advantages of living with a spanker,hmmmmmm let me think. Yes I do get spanked more than I did when we didn't live together and the spankings vary. We are in a DD relationship,but I only get discipline spankings about every two weeks. I actually get some kind of spanking everyday,in fact since January 1 this year I have had a spanking every single day! We are trying to get more into the local scene here and yes we have traveled to other parties as well. This year so far we have attended two parties,well three if you count the mini one we had at our house. ;)

How much of your life (percentage wise) is spent doing something to do with spanking? (example: 25% spanko 75% vanilla):

Ok math is not my strong suit so not sure the percentage 50%? Sir Robert is really focusing on erotic art right now so there is that and we have more privacy than most of our spanking friends,so yeah 50% is about right.

You go by the name "Scunge" in the scene, how did that name come about?

Ah the Scunge question. Ok for all those that don't know how to pronounce it,it rhymes with sponge. Right,I thought I had made it up but apparently it has been around at least since the 1950s. I was looking for a name the could be ambiguous and settled on Scunge. My spell check hates it,gives me the wiggly red line ALL the time! The nice thing about my kink name is now that I have met more people in the scene they know if they see the name Scunge on a comment or in a chat room it is probably me. I have not as yet seen ANY other kinksters with the name Scunge out there. :)

What I know about Scunge...

I first met Scunge in person at the Boardwalk Badness Party in Atlantic City. She and her partner Sir Robert were laughing and talking with us at the first meet and greet they had. Todd and I had already known Scunge online from our blog and our Spanking Diet group for well over a year or so.

Scunge enjoys crocheting and is quite talented in that area. When she came to Ocala for one of our ASSparties, she was so sweet and brought us the most beautiful red and blue afghan she had made herself!! It is beautiful and big enough for our king sized bed or as we use it, for a cuddle blanket built for two on the couch watching TV :) My mom comments on how beautiful it is everytime she comes over and I just jokingly tell her she'll have to come to one of the parties to meet the maker LOL.

Scunge is a very fun and playful spankee and she can take a good spanking up to a point but also has been in the scene long enough to know when she needs a break. At the Ocala party she played right along with the rest of the group and had good spirits even when it was clear her bottom was getting sore. Her sense of humor is very sociable and everyone who met her was glad to do so.

She is a good cook and a great hostess and we were very thankful for the hospitality given to us when we stayed with her and Robert on our NYC trip. Lots of good talk and fun spankings were had by all.

I think Scunge is a sweet lady and a fun spankee and I look forward to seeing her again at a party real soon!

What I know about Robert:

I first met Robert at the Boardwalk Badness Party in Atlantic City. It was a great time and I believe Robert and his girlfriend Scunge (who we had known online for some time) were sitting at the same table as us at the Nuts & Bolts event and then Robert and I got to chatting about shooting pool at the Meet & Greet at the pub area of the hotel. We shot a few games and had quite a few laughs and I really felt a genuine kindness in both Robert & Scunge.

Todd and I continued to get to know Robert online and invited him to our Memorial Day Ocala party. We were so glad when he said they could make it, even with the long drive it was going to be. He was a hoot at the party and even with his inability to count correctly ;) a blast to play with.

When we recently went back up north to an SSNY party, Robert generously offered for us to stay at their place and they were fantastic hosts. We had some spanking fun and a lot of great conversation. He got to see a bit of the sassy side of Suzy though when he was clearly told to stop the video after 20 seconds because Todd was going to give me a VERY hard spanking, spanking as fast as he could and he agreed. Well, let's just say after 40 seconds (or more) Scunge seeing the pain in my face, said "Robert, you were supposed to stop at 20!!!". It was all in fun, and after my sore butt stopped throbbing, I forgave him ;)

Robert showed us his 'shop' where he makes some awesome artistic creations. They also made us a fantastic breakfast before we left which sure helps when you are gonna be on the road for many miles.

We hope they can make it down here again for another party sometime and definitely plan to stop by and see them when we are up their way as well.

Robert is a great guy and has a fun sense of humor and I am glad to know him.

When did you get your first adult spanking and by whom and how did you feel about it?

I received my first adult spanking almost four years ago by Thomas. We meet for the first time at a pizza place near my house and he was interesting enough and nice enough that I took the chance to test the waters with him and received my first hand spanking and first adult spanking in the back of his Kia outside in the pizza places parking lot. I felt very good about it. He was very friendly and took his time making sure that I was okay with everything as things went along. I left a very happy camper and hooked on it ever since LOL.

How did you first become involved in the spanking community?

I first became involved I guess through Thomas although I did join a few groups on MySpace before which caused me to meet Thomas however that was the extent until when I got involved with Thomas and we started meeting once a week then I started blogging and he also took me to my first spanking party which I really enjoyed and have enjoyed everyone I went to since then. After awhile and when we got more involved it became a lot easier for me and I felt very comfortable with the people I had meet and things so I went ahead and let him start video taping some of our spanking play for our blogs which later turned into agreeing to be a spanko in videos he would sell on the clips4sale store. It was a very welcoming community and I have meet some really nice people so I am proud to say that I am in the spanko world and have many spanko friends both online and in person.

While I would love to be able to say that the pleasure of dating a spanker means getting spanked more often but that really isn't the case as having kids and life gets in the way to much. But when I think about it if I never started dating Thomas I probably wouldn't have ever attended a spanking party and wouldn't be where I am today in the spanking world. So it does have its benefits.

How much of your life (percentage wise) is spent doing something to do with spanking? (example: 25% spanko 75% vanilla):

Well I wish I could say 100 percent but I sadly can't LOL. Like I said before kids and life get in the way. I think that if you consider thinking about it then I might be at least at 80% spanko.

How did you decide on the name "Cookie" as your scene name?

Early on when I first met Thomas, I was just considered the newbie. I wasn't 100 percent comfortable with my name being out there so Thomas and I tried to come up with a name for me so that he could blog using my name. He claims he found the name though I can't remember though it is one that I prefer much more then my given name and now that I am a little more comfortable with being out there have even considered legally changing my name to my scene name. But that won't be until my kids are all 18 and out of the house. Almost anyone close to me knows my real name as well as my scene name. It has become more of a nickname for me now anyway then just a scene name.

What I know about Cookie...

I first met Cookie at the 2008 Texas All-State party and she had the cutest purple panties.. lol. She was very shy and quiet, and a bit nervous it seemed and I'm.. well.. I'm not any of those things, but luckily her boyfriend, Thomas was a bit more talkative and so he introduced us and over the days of the party, she and I got to know eachother a bit better.

Cookie has gorgeous long blonde hair and a great sense of humor. She's a bit sassy in the quiet, usually unnoticed kinda way, and she's very fun to party with and play Spankopoly with :)

Spanking In Suzy's World - Spankings Received Today: 4 or at least it felt like 4 :) It all started off pretty nice and pleasantly predictable. Todd moved aside his laptop and I laid down over his knee.. my head resting gently on a pillow on the arm of the couch... some soft rubbing.. some light smacks.. then a buildup from light to hard with his firm hand... then he stopped.. I waited... he started again... I relaxed... he stopped again.. I turned my head.. he said "why don't we go play in the bedroom"... I smiled and agreed. Little did I know of his true plan...
Once in the bedroom he instructed me to take off my clothes and retrieve the new toys we received from Cane-iac. I gave him the "this is supposed to be a fun spanking" look. A look he's had plenty of practice ignoring. I laid over his lap and he started with his hand.. but not for long.. I felt this short but stingy smack on my right cheek.. 'oww' I said.. that was replied to with 5 more sharp stingy slaps with what I'm assuming was the new Black Night JR 12" Paddle .. MAJOR STINGY... he'd alternate from one cheek to the other...then when I started turning and fussing 'owww..noo..heyyy' he stepped up to the Black Knight SR, 20" Paddle.. SAME STING OVER BOTH CHEEKS...double owwww.. now I'm learning to quit fussing...he stopped and gave me a few rubs and squeezes and then some hand spanks..and just when I'm starting to relax he suprises the hell out of me with a hard swat with one of the canes Cane-iac sent us.. Thanks So Much... lol... He tells me it's the White Delrin Loop SR and gives me 6 hard swats (oh yeah now that you told me the name it feels SO much better.. NOT) then rubs and consoles me.. tears have started forming.. cane swats HURT.. then apparently his sympathy subsided because he tells me I'm getting 6 more.. but does he use the one I'm expecting? No.... he uses the Rattan Cane - Wonder Loop 20 which is another meanie.. but I do kinda start getting into it.. so he gives me another 6... then says his typical "how was that?" ... part of me is very content... after all I do love being spanked and caned.. the other part of me wants to say "how bout I show you" but I have learned in the 9+ years that Todd and I have been together, I don't play with fire like that.. I will surely get my butt burned :)

Kulula is an Airline with head office situated in Johannesburg .

Kulula airline attendants make an effort to make the in-flight "safety lecture" and announcements a bit more entertaining. Here are some real examples that have been heard or reported:

On a Kulula flight, (there is no assigned seating, you just sit where you want) passengers were apparently having a hard time choosing, when a flight attendant announced, "People, people we're not picking out furniture here, find a seat and get in it!"

On another flight with a very "senior" flight attendant crew, the pilot said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached cruising altitude and will be turning down the cabin lights. This is for your comfort and to enhance the appearance of your flight attendants."

On landing, the stewardess said, "Please be sure to take all of your belongings.. If you're going to leave anything, please make sure it's something we'd like to have."

Heard on Kulula 255 just after a very hard landing in Cape Town : The flight attendant came on the intercom and said, "That was quite a bump and I know what y'all are thinking. I'm here to tell you it wasn't the airline's fault, it wasn't the pilot's fault, it wasn't the flight attendant's fault, it was the asphalt."

Overheard on a Kulula flight into Cape Town , on a particularly windy and bumpy day: During the final approach, the Captain really had to fight it. After an extremely hard landing, the Flight Attendant said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to The Mother City. Please remain in your seats with your seat belts fastened while the Captain taxis what's left of our airplane to the gate!"

"We ask you to please remain seated as Captain Kangaroo bounces us to the terminal."

An airline pilot wrote that on this particular flight he had hammered his ship into the runway really hard. The airline had a policy which required the first officer to stand at the door while the passengers exited, smile, and give them a "Thanks for flying our airline. He said that, in light of his bad landing, he had a hard time looking the passengers in the eye, thinking that someone would have a smart comment. Finally everyone had gotten off except for a little old lady walking with a cane. She said, "Sir, do you mind if I ask you a question?"

"Why, no Ma'am," said the pilot. "What is it?" The little old lady said,

"Did we land, or were we shot down?"

While I was talking to you, the flight attendant accidentally spilled a cup of hot coffee in my lap. You should see the front of my pants!" A passenger then yelled, "That's nothing. You should see the back of mine!"

Today I am doing the eighth Spanko Friend Profile Post on an experienced and well known blogger and spanker known as "Thomas".

Who did you give your first adult spanking to, at what age were you and where did you do it. Was there a reason (if so, what was it)?

It’s probably best if I didn’t try to discuss the first adult spanking that I dished out, as I remember few, if any, of the details. All that I can really remember is that she was a total non-spanko, and that there was an exchange of currency involved. It was less than fulfilling. A better story is the first adult spanking that I gave to an actual spanko. I was 31 at the time, having just broken down and purchased my first computer a couple of months previous. Finally getting online had opened my eyes to the adult spanking community, and I jumped in with both feet. I soon started talking with a few local spankos and arranged an informal meeting with several at a munch. When the munch was over, one young lady asked if I wanted to go back to my place to play. Naturally, I did, so we spent about an hour playing in my bedroom. There was no particular reason for the spanking, other than our mutual enjoyment. I was still impossibly new, though, and I had only the smallest idea of what I was doing. It took a couple of years, and the help of a patient and knowledgeable spankee, before I really found my place as a spanker.

What are your thoughts about the different kinds of spankings (Playful, Erotic and Disciplinary) and which do you enjoy giving the most?

I recognize and practice all three of those spanking characteristics, as well as three others that I feel are distinct in their own ways (sensual, therapeutic and punishment). I think that most people agree that spankings can be sensual or erotic, or playful, or even therapeutic. Only discipline and punishment seems to be difficult for some people to grasp, as they feel that any adult spanking must be sexual in some manner. I suppose that these folks would say that there is only one kind of spanking, erotic, and the other three types that they’re willing to recognize are just subtypes of erotic. I do believe, however, that adult spankings can be given in a manner that circumvents any eroticism, allowing for behavior modification to be the intent. I don’t think that I can actually pin how one that I “enjoy” more than the other. I don’t enjoy giving disciplinary or punishment spankings, but I still actively seek out these kinds of relationships. I simply enjoy the act of spanking, and the relationship mechanics that go along with the act. In other words, while I don’t receive direct pleasure from giving out punishment, I do enjoy the relationship between partners in a disciplinary agreement.

How do you spend most of your time online? Chatting, Message boards, Forums, Gaming, Blogging, vanilla stuff?

My online habits tend to fluctuate like the seasons, though a good portion of my computer time is spent on my spanking blogs. When I got my first computer, spanking chatrooms dominated my online activities. Since then, I’ve largely abandoned chatrooms, though I occasionally pop in on some sites that I know. I never much cared for Myspace or Facebook, though I do currently spend a lot of time on Fetlife, taking part in a few of the discussions. I also use the fetish networking site to seek out potential spanking models for my videos, or ladies simply in need of spankings for play or discipline. At the moment, a significant portion of my online time is spent in freeform spanking roleplays, particularly in a superhero roleplay that I created and made a Yahoo group for. I’ve been a fan of online roleplay, either in forums or chatrooms, ever since I first got on the internet. I think that it helps me to practice my writing talents.

What percentage of the romantic relationships you've been in have involved spanking? (ex 20 total girls dated, 10 of them got spanked = 50%)

I actually never dated, at all, before finding the spanking scene, so my percentage is sitting exactly at 100%. Yes, I know that it means that I didn’t date before I turned 31. I also know how sad that is.

You go by the name Thomas in the scene and you've posted that this is your real name, what made you choose to go by that instead of making up a name like many people in this scene do?

I guess that it just never occurred to me to use an assumed name. When I first joined a chatroom online, I signed up as Thomas_III, and that’s who I’ve been ever since. I identify strongly with my spanking interests, and really don’t have a “vanilla” side to express. My family, friends and coworkers all know about my extracurricular activities, so I don’t have to hide it from anyone, and wouldn’t want to have to. This is who I am, more than anything else that I do. It’s my personal niche in life. Plus, I think that my own openness is why I have such a high percentage of “first meet” spankings to my credit. I put myself out there in full view, so a prospective spankee has no trouble researching me in any manner that she desires. If I was unsafe or untrustworthy, she’d know, because I don’t try to hide behind a pseudonym that could be changed each site that I go to.

What I know about Thomas:

I first met Thomas at Texas All State in 2008 and we were sitting outside by the pool with free open spanking going on all around us and Richard Windsor and I were discussing collections of implements and Thomas was naming off some of the implements he owns and I was intrigued (as only a spankee at a spanking party can be lol) and asked if I could see his collection. Well little did I know, that his collection is a whole TRUNK of every kind of implement imaginable, which only made me even more intrigued so needless to say Thomas offered to let me try a few of them and of course I said yes. I actually first saw one of my favorite implements to this day in Thomas's trunk of goodies. The Aluminum Paddle.. and I am still hoping to one day get one just like it for my own :)

Thomas is an excellent writer and anyone who checks out his blog, Thomas's Spanking Exploits will notice that right off. He is also a very skilled spanker who reads the level of spanking intensity that the spankee needs quite well. Thomas and his girlfriend Cookie participate in a number of spanking groups and are quite well known in the scene.

One thing about Thomas is he is a spanker 100% of the time, there is really no time when he's not willing to spank if he feels it necessary. One weekend Todd and I went over to where Thomas was living and had a great day of socializing and spanking fun and when we all went out to eat at a nearby restaurant, Thomas out of the blue turned one of the ladies at the table with us over his lap and gave her a spanking right there at the table.. I was laughing and quite speechless. The spankee was clearly not surprised, I would be this wasn't the first time something like that had happened for her, but it definitely was for us!

Thomas and Cookie both attended one of our Ocala spanking parties and he was a big hit (pun intended) with the spankees there. We enjoyed playing our Spankopoly game with Thomas at our Ocala party as well as at the Texas All State 2009 party. .

Spanking In Suzy's World - Spankings Received Today: Two Spankings for Suzy!!... I was counting down the minutes until it was time for my son to get to bed, then ran and took a shower (figuring that allowed enough time to have son be asleep) then came out wrapped in only a towel.. my wet hair down my back and a smile on my face. I stand next to the couch and look at Todd who says (with a total smartass grin) "what?.. do you want something?" I drop the towel and lay myself over his lap and he figures out exactly what I want.. The second one was in the bedroom with his hand again (need to start laying some paddles out ahead of time) and it was a rapid, hard spanking that had me saying "ohh ohh oh.. I got it.. ok ok.. thattttt's ennnuffff... " then he laughed and gave me one of the nicest butt rubs ever.. (of course every one is better than the last or maybe I'm just more appreciative the more recent it is lol)

For those of you who follow our American Spanking Society blog or you might have read it on HERE, about how I fell and hurt myself and a big factor in that was my addiction to wearing flip flops.. all the time.. it's a habit I'm trying to break, especially since I've been cut off from wearing them at all for the time being :( But when I saw this video, I had to laugh because it's SO possible. I mean I get clumbsy in my flip flops when I'm SOBER.... and I can only imagine how I look when I'm tipsy .. hopefully that's the time I'm wearing OTHER shoes LOL..
